Interview: Matt Anderson
Matt Anderson is the co-creator and co-writer of Ape Entertainment’s White Picket Fences with artist Micah Farritor and co-writer Eric Hutchins. I sat at my computer and sent him questions and he answered just like what Oprah’s minions do (except minus the vodou):
The Outhouse: Okay, first off: Describe White Picket Fences.
Matt Anderson: White Picket Fences is the story of eleven-year-old Charlie Hobson, who finds himself in the unfortunate position of being the person who triggers an interplanetary showdown between Earth and Mars, thereby endangering not only everyone he knows and loves in his hometown of Greenview, but also the entire planet! Think of it as a cross between television shows like, Leave it to Beaver, and films like, The Day the Earth Stood Still. (more…)
Chip Mosher is an independent producer, screenwriter, and director who created “Kiss Your Ass Goodbye.” He also is the writer of BOOM! Studios’ Left On Mission, a new spy mini-series, with Francesco Francavilla (Black Coat, Fear Agent). In this interview with The Outhouse, Chip explains LOM, what it’s like transiting from screenwriter to comic book writer, and why skidmarks are Superman’s greatest enemy:

The Outhouse now proudly presents an interview with Cliff Chiang (Gotham Central, Human Target, Dr. Thirteen back-story in Tales of the Unexpected). Enjoy:
Jonathan Hickman is the writer, artist, letterer, colorist, and grip boy for The Nightly News, a new series from Image Comics. The Outhouse had the pleasure of getting an interview with Hickman. Enjoy, critters:
Stuart Moore (Firestorm, Wolverine, JSA Classified) is the talented writer behind Firestorm right at the moment with artist Jamal Igle. He also doesn’t drink toilet paper and lives in a very old brownstone with the ghosts of the Loch Ness monster and Steve Guttenberg’s career. Yes, I made that last piece about the ghosts up. So sue me (I’m kidding!!!). Enjoy, ducklings:
John Romita Jr. (The Eternals, Amazing Spider-Man, Wolverine) has drawn so many Marvel characters, I’m not even going to bother to list them. Okay, fine. Quit being such a bully!!!… Anyways, on to the Outhouse’s interview with Mr. Romita Jr.:
