The second episode of Just a Little Blud is the strip's first attempt at parody, aimed at the Marvel Comics Civil War storyline which was ongoing at that time.

In episode 3 of Just a Little Blud, the strip makes fun of another famous creator, making two creators made fun of before Rob Liefeld.

Episode 4 of Season one was the beginning of the INCREDIBLE, EARTH-SHATTERING
EVENT, Fallen Blud, featuring the SHOCKING DEATH of the beloved character, Blud Blood! Fallen Blud was the strip's first attempt at an ongoing storyline, and parodied the follow-up to Marvel Comics' Civil War, Fallen Son, which featured the death of Captain America. The era of blatant self promotion and piggybacking on the popularity of the Big 2 begins...

In Part two of the monumental epic storyline, Fallen Blud, Jon and Jude lament the loss of their beloved creation. Also, the true motives behind the event are revealed. Also, this is the first appearance of Joe Qarne Asada!

In Part 3 of Fallen Blud, Blud Blood is confronted by his creators. In response, he fires the shot heard around the world, killing his own creator, upping the strip's bodycount, and pushing the levels of senseless death and violence to new highs.

In the penultimate chapter of the five part mega-event, Fallen Blud, the strip takes a serious, mature look at the ramifications of death in comics.

Chapter 5 of Fallen Blud features the introduction of a brand new character (who would eventually be dropped when no one was paying attention), the return of fan favorite character and series artist Jon Salwen, and a comprehensive discussion of the metaphysical issues involved in death and resurrection in comics.

As a testament to the epic scope of the monumental Fallen Blud storyline (or as a result of poor planning and lack of a plot outline), the five part series runs a little bit long, as Fallen Blud Part 6 of 5 features yet another senseless death, that of Jude Terror. Unfortunately, everyone is so desensitized to violence by this point that nobody cares. Also, this strip marks the beginning of a new look and logo for Just a Little Blud. Also, issues with primadonna colorist SuperginraiX caused the strip to be so late that it was released without colors at first. Though Jude Terror eventually added the colored art to the comic, due to his lack of pride in his work, he forgot to change the title of the strip from "special uncolored version."

Here is the aforementioned uncolored version of Episode 9. In order to cover up for their incompetence, the creative team released this version as a special chrome variant, thereby getting double the hits for one comic (for a grand total of 12 hits).

In episode 10 of Just a Little Blud, the strip parodies the writing style of Marvel Comics legend Brian Bendis, as Blud Blood takes the entire strip to take a sip form a can of coke, making three creators made fun of before Rob Liefeld (four if you count Qarne Asada), for those of us who are keeping count, which we are not.
FINALLY, 11 strips into the series, Just a Little Blud parodies Rob Liefeld's signature art style. Later on, on comic book message board newsarama, this would prompt some to say that the entire strip's sole purpose is to bash Rob Liefeld. In other news, the strip features the first appearance of the Just a Little Blud Logo and general format that are still used today.

Just a Little Blud continues to try to cash in on Marvel's success with this parody of World War Hulk. We have no shame. None at all.

In Episode 13 of Season 1, Jude Terror spoils the punchline of the strip by ordering the speech bubbles wrong. Because of this, Swype seems to slice himself up with his own helmet for no reason at all, instead of because Blud Blood got him to turn his head to look behind him. That Jude Terror... what a tool.
To make up for his botch of Jon's punchline with the lettering, Jude Terror added a special alternate ending to strip 13, parodying the ending of the HBO series, The Sopranos, from the night before. Yes, parodying the Sopranos ending. A brilliant idea. Not something a million other people did at all. Nope.

Episode 14 of Season 1 was written and drawn by primadonna colorist SuperginraiX. Yeah, Jon and Jude wanted to give the kid a chance to show off his stuff. This had nothing to do at all with waning creativity and motivation, and was not an indication that the strip would take a six month hiatus after one more episode. Definitely not.
The final strip of Season 1 gave no indication that the strip would be going on a six month vacation. The teaser claimed there would be a new strip, and there was no cliffhanger ending, but it was indeed the final strip for six months. That's right, since this last strip was produced and before Season 2 began, at least TWO issues of All Star Batman and Robin The Boy Wonder were released. That's a long time. But yeah, we planned it all along. Yup.
