That's not your user title, that's your rank. It changes with post counts or by joining a group. Your usertitle is under your avatar.

Yea thats an ancient custom one I requested before you added a mod that allowed us to create our own.

So it's a standard title based on my postcount rather than my old one dredged up somehow?

Ok, long explanation time.

Originally phpbb2 had ranks, no custom fields unless you hard-coded one in. So back then, if someone wanted a custom rank, an admin could create a special rank and assign it to that person. Then, I added a mod to allow users to set their own custom title, and if the custom title was set, it overrode the rank so that the rank didn't show, in effect replacing the rank with custom title.

Phpbb3 allows for the addition of profile fields, so I was able to just create a custom title to go under the avatar. Now, the old ranks show up again. So if you had a custom rank set, that may be showing. Either I can change it for you, or you could join a group to get the custom rank of that group, or I could make you a new custom rank if you want.
