I totally agree with this. FC has neat ideas and I really really wanted to like it after the first 3 issues, but something was missing. Then it just got worse and worse as it went along and the important things that were skipped and left in other books or that happened off panel, the characters didn't have unique voices, the emotional impact that should have accompanied various developments didn't exist, and the whole thing got delayed and ended up a huge mess. The editors, artist, and writer all combined to take neat ideas and make it fall apart.

Sins Past was just a horrible idea that never should have seen the light of day.

Grant Morrison has written a lot of great stuff but the way people react about Final Crisis you'd think he was a reviled author like Austen, or Mackie. He wrote a shitty event and people are way to upset about it.

I understand that mid-March, DC staffers are expecting a second wave of redundancies. Two or three mid-level editors and a few in advertising sales.

Yeah, advertising's a bitch right now, I'm right in the middle of it. My sympathies to all similarly affected

motherfuck...I'm planning on applying to both Marvel and DC's ad departments in a few months...

maybe thats not going to go too well.

Damn.. just read the Moose part in LiTG. Honestly what did the poor man do? Moose is one of the best colorists out there in the business. Everytime I go to Wizardworld Chicago first thing I do is go see the man and his sheets cause damn he has some great stuff colored from all over the place. It's a damn shame DC continues to treat this dude like garbage.

It pissed me off last year to know he wasn't gonna be on Blackest Night and they took him off GL books. Sad that he won't be involved with Flash Rebirth. I mean the dude's coloring on that teaser ruled. Oh well.. *sigh*

Final Crisis started off slow, but rocked hardcore by the end. The haters can shove it. :P

And it was pretty simple to follow.

Final Crisis was so confusing that you had to think about it, and once you'd worked it out, it was still really bad, so not only was it bad, but it wasted your time even more.

Final Crisis sucked because it made you think? :smt017

It made me think, and once I'd thought about it, it sucked even more, do you see what I mean? If I was a moron and just didn't get it, then it'd suck, but because I sat and worked through it, I realised that it was even worse, the story was confusing, and once you know what the story actually is, it still sucked!

If Didio has a problem with Moose he's an idiot.

Moose's colors helped make Sinestro Corps War the incredible piece of art it was. If he's not on Blackest Night the entire story is going to suffer.

He's as much a part of that event as Ivan Reis Geoff Johns or EVS!

And again he's the nicest dude in the world. Ever since I met him two years ago if he's at a comic con he'll be the first person I'll go visit. Then probably that goddamn McKeever.
