I dare you to do special Blue Plates dedicated to the Rulk trade.

i don't know if i have it in me...the review would be TERRIBLE. i'd ream it up, down, sideways and slideways. b/c i literally can't defend the book. i CAN'T. yet i liked it anyway. there's no explaining it.

It drives me nuts. I love McGuiness's stuff. LOVE IT and he is perfect for the Hulk. But the story is such shit I can't read the damn book. I don't think an evil Defenders concept is bad at all actually. In fact the line up makes a lot sense. Should be Blonsky in there but I think the concept is cool. I know the writing will suck though so I won't bother with it.

I was thinking him or Clay Quartermain since he was killed early on in the series if I remember correctly.

I was thinking him or Clay Quartermain since he was killed early on in the series if I remember correctly.

it's a typical Loeb swerve if it's Blonsky. show him "die" at the very beginning, then have him return later as the mystery bad guy. take into account the whole "death scene" was seen only in flashback as told by a guy who's in on the cover-up (Samson). it could easily have been entirely fabricated.

plus, Rulk hates Hulk/Banner, knows pretty much everything about him, and has prior gamma exposure. Blonsky's the logical choice.

again, we're only told that in flashback by Samson. nobody actually saw it. i'm sure Len and Thunderbolt could've easily engineered a fake body with big bullet-holes in the face to fool Jen, Stark & co.

the only problem with that theory is why in the hell would Ross work with Blonsky after he tried to kill Betty. but again, it's Loeb, so minor things like that probably weren't deemed very important.

The Watcher punch and Rulk lifting Thor's hammer are the two stupidest moments in comics that I have ever seen. And I am losing braincells just remembering those abominations.

The Watcher punching for me. When I saw that in the previews I thought it was pretty ridiculous. Sure, Uatu deserves it, that peeping tom, but I much rather see Doom, Thor, or somebody pre-established do it.
