What issue? You can't blame me unless I wrote a story in it.

When a poster says "throw them in the trash" they actually mean recycle them, right?

I have tossed about a hundred books in the recycling bin. I would probably toss more were I not afraid of them gaining some sort of monetary value in the after market. Thank goodness I kept Secret Defenders #12 because it should be worth a couple of dollars whenever Thanos shows up as a major villain at the movies.

I had a great purge once. Goodbye jltaskforce. Adios extreme justice. Yazz jla? You suck.
I'm much more trade and digital now. I refuse to pay 4 bucks for 20 pages. But I'll hold onto my comics I enjoy for a long while.

I keep all of my comics. You never know when you might be in the mood to re-read something.

Hey Punchy, have you ever heard of Kristyna Baczynski? She's from Leeds, I think.

This shit isn't worth shipping. Black Orchid and whatever else I sent were. This won't be.

Haven't heard of her, it looks like she'll be at the Leeds Con in the autumn, maybe I walked past her at a previous one.

I keep the stuff that I enjoyed most, since I tend to re-read stuff a lot. Everything else gets given away or thrown out. I don't have the storage space and when too much builds up, I feel like a hoarder.

at least try and have a yard sale or Craigslist for under book value before resorting to throwing them out. At least try to get some of your cash back on them.

Donate them to a library maybe?

I hate to admit it, but the library doesn't want them. They need to be in exceptional shape for a library to put it on the shelf, and even then it would (probably) only be graphic novels, no single issues.

Donating to a day care center or similar might be a good idea, depending on what you have, of course. Heck, try Freecycle before recycle.
