The Kingsley we both know would have probably armed the government forces with goblin gear and collect the profits rather than sport some ridiculous get up. I do hope that Slott reveals what motivated all of this as there are too many questions here.

Sadly I do have to agree about the Tarantula part as this seems dumb as hell. Plus, Kingsley needs to ditch the goatee while he is at it.

I think you missed the part where he was laying low till he was racy to go after the Kingpin. Unless goblin gear all over South America equates to laying low.
