REMENDER FIRED OFF OF UNCANNY X-FORCE!...or not

Irrational Fanboy: Remender has been fired off of Uncanny X-Force!

Bleeding Cool is reporting that there is a chance that someone overheard in a hallway somewhere that Marvel might be thinking about canceling Uncanny X-force. This pseudo-announcement includes the gossip that fan favorite (or fan-despised, depending on the day of the week) writer Daniel Way will be stealing the book away from Remender and conning Marvel's higher-ups to relaunch it with a new #1 issue.

Remender has received multiple fan accolades for his work on Uncanny X-Force, with many ranking the book as one of Marvel's best in recent years, with the exception of the Otherworld arc, which is universally hated as it made no sense and there are only 3 people in the world who care about Captain Britain.

Most reasonable readers would look at this news and think that, while upsetting, it is standard operating procedure, but sources on The Outhouse forums, a veritable hotbed of trustworthy information and calm, metered reasoning that “Anyone who was on a book and no longer is has been fired. It is known." We hope this puts to bed any thoughts of a reasonable discussion on the topic.

Normally, The Outhousers in no way condones irresponsible rumor-mongering, but it's Monday, and we’re bored.

What's the big deal? Remender clearly has bigger things on his plate than the third string X-Men book, Way has experience writing Deadpool and Wolverine, seems like a fairly seamless transition to me, especially if they're not renumbering it?

Who said Remender was getting fired? They just hired him for Uncanny Avengers?
