A nineteen year old man is facing felony assault charges after attacking his roommate with a set of replica Wolverine claws.  Kristofer Huff of Vernal, Utah, attacked roommate in a domestic dispute two weeks ago.  Huff's mother was also injured in the scuffle.

The victim had several lacerations on the head, defense wounds on the hands and a deep stab wound in the thigh.  The report also indicates that a knife was involved with the attack.  It appears that neither person injured in the assault suffered any life-threatening injuries. 

Due to the odd nature of the attack, it's doubtful that Huff and his roommates were disagreeing about Avengers vs. X-Men, the current Marvel event that has spurred several scuffles between former friends and family members.  More likely it was because Huff's mother was dating the roommate, whom Huff had been best friends with since he was younger.

Life lesson: if dating your best friend's mother, make sure that you don't take her back to the apartment you share with him, especially if he has a variety of things with which to stab you.
