I will say Kirk's stuff is a lot different than it was on JSA. I like it but I liked his old stuff too. Still don't like the new Captain Britain costume however.

An unnamed comic creator once told me a funny story about Loeb.

He said that Loeb basically asks his artists what they want to draw and if the artist says, "I want to draw Hulk punching a T-Rex" well then good old Jeph will find a way to put it in the story.

That's why all those women showed up during Frank Cho's run without any of their men (because The Thing, Reed Richards, Colossus and Wolverine wouldn't have helped in a fight against Rulk  ).

Who cares? It made for an awesome tribute cover.

Kramer is just bland.

Loeb is famous for that, it's why all these popular artists (Cho, McGuiness, Adams, Finch, Madureira etc) want to work with him because unlike other writer's he'll take their input into more (too much?) consideration.

It may also be a master plan by Loeb to insure that his books sell.

There is no correlation between Cassaday and Kramer, Cassaday is amazing, a unique artist with a striking sense of design and structure, Kramer is just... there, drawing bland, dead-eyed assorted Bat-crap.

I don't mind Rulk because I've read Wolverine: Evolution, which is at least ten times as bad.

Next to that, Rulk is frickin' genius.

Me too. I have this awesome Thing one shot he drew that looks great. The one thing Rob Zimmerman wrote that was any good.

I almost bought the trade last week just for the art. Fortunately my willpower won out and I still have some dignity.
