Do the Didio era of backstabbing creators in favor of other creators continues.

Which was all but inevitable once the New 52 began using Wildstorm characters to begin with. The only question is who could possibly use on WildCats that hasn't before?

With Johns leaving Aquaman (allegedly), maybe he'll write WildCats after Trinity War.

The damage has already been done IMO.

I mean on the last cover of Hawkman he actually made Pike a main villain in the book. PIKE for fucks sake.

Yeah, lets not start that again we are having a serious discussion on Rob's decision to leave DC.

Zechs wrote:Though seriously this is THE problem with DC, editorial. I hate to agree with Liefeld but the pissing contests have got to stop. It's made the Bat books a clusterfuck in continuity. It killed Static. They should count their stars they haven't pissed off their true bread and butter in Scott Snyder. The moment they drive him away.. they are sooooo fucked. Though then again they are boned next year the moment Grant Morrison walks from Batman Inc and Action Comics. With him goes his cult and pretty much the Superman books.

I remember even talking to bk about this Sunday. DC is starting to reach the bottom of the barrel here in creative talent.Who's left from the 90s from Marvel they haven't used yet? Terry Kavanagh? Bring back BRYNE?! They've scared off so much good talent it's getting to the point that um maybe a change up on top is necessary. Because sooner or later there's going to some low selling books.

Marvel at least if they have this sort of thing we don't find out until a few years later *cough* JMS *cough*. DC it's like that time of the month to piss off someone and have them burn the bridge that allows them to work at DC.

Well this is the same company that pissed off Jim Shooter, Dwayne McDuffie, Joe Quesada and so on so no surprise here.

He was fired as an artist but fired himself as a writer?

Yeah, I got nothing.

Better yet, I think Didio hates the fans and feeds off the dislike they have for him wherever he works.

Yeah, creatively and not personally, I'd agree. And I'd take a lot of his complaints with a grain of salt. We're talking about someone that, in DCnu52, failed upward, with the perception being that it was due to Harras being the top decision maker.

Except this is something we have been hearing for a while. DC editorial does not know which direction to go and that is the reason for all the confusion.
