Who will be the next creator to abruptly leave DC? That includes some who were already scheduled to be leaving, but might go ahead and leave ahead of schedule.

Honestly I lay odds on Gail Simone. Brian Azzarello is too far entrenched in mini's/Vertigo and he's half out Wonder Woman come the next issue right? Or is that #13? Robinson already almost left once BUT.. I doubt he will having stayed around after the debacle Cry for Justice was for him. Lee and Johns are too well leading this charge so the only way they leave is by being fired. Diggle hasn't even done anything yet. Morrison is quietly exiting the stage come next year. Snyder? MAYBE but he's their bread and butter. No way they piss him off for fear the Bat books be in utter chaos if he left them now.

I think Azzarello is going to be around at least another year, if that's what you meant.

I just think Gail will be the one to go. I think the only thing keeping her at DC is she's writing Barbara Gordon (horribly mind you but that maybe due to the editors). If she goes I think it's to the Indy world since mostly everyone is still there at Marvel when she left it. Though honestly she never really burned the bridges there badly did she?

Supposedly Andy Diggle is taking over Action after Morrison. Which is good news/bad news. It's good news if it's Green Arrow Year One or Losers Diggle. It's bad news if it's Shadowland Diggle.

I'm going with Gail Simone seeing how Marvel is getting a lot more women creators, sure some are spouses, but it might be enough to see her come back over. She also has the kickstarter program going on so she may want some more exposure that what DC is granting her besides Batgirl.

A very tough call as I see quite a number of people getting fed up of DC down the road-although Robinson and Simone would be two very likely candidates.

of the options i think it'll be Robinson or Simone, so i went with Robinson as its the most likely one to happen.

Geoff Johns. He'll get pissed off with having so much shoved at him and for being a part of the debacle called "shazam".

Right! Like Shazam isn't entire his idea.

You're just mad because it's not exactly like Captain Marvel pre-Flashpoint.

I doubt even Didio and DC would be dumb enough to drive off the guy who has been one of their main assets. But then again, DC never fails to surprise me by shooting themselves in the foot.

He's said he's got 2 years planned out and told Snyder they'd have to pry him off the book (insinuating a longer run). I think Zech's is taking Chiang's co-writing credit as a sign of him bolting early, but they've said that the scripts for Chiang's issues are looser-almost-Marvel style so they gave him a co-writer credit.

I can see Johns getting burned out and demoralized with DC after being there for so long. I honestly can see him leaving for Marvel more than DC hiring John Byrne again.

He's making the hollywood/vidya game dollars now with his creative director role. I think he'll leave writing comics before he leaves WB.

I don't. If he leaves for Marvel, he won't have the same power at Marvel that he had at DC. Could you see him writing one or more titles but not being able to dictate the direction the universe goes in?
