What the hell is Ultraviolet?

Content consumers create a free-of-charge UltraViolet account, either through a participating UltraViolet service provider, or through the UltraViolet website, with six accounts allowed per household. An UltraViolet account provides access to a Digital Rights Locker where licenses for purchased content are stored and managed irrespective of the point of sale. The account holder may register up to 12 devices for streaming and/or downloading for transfer onto physical media (e.g. DVDs, SD cards, flash memory). Once downloaded, an UltraViolet file can be played on any UltraViolet player registered to the household account, but it will not play on devices which are not compatible with UltraViolet. Files can also be streamed over the Internet. Up to three streams can be simultaneously transmitted. Compatible devices include set-top boxes as well as Internet-enabled devices such as computers, game consoles, Blu-ray players, Internet TVs, smartphones, and tablets.

Movie Club

Where people who have no right to review movies review movies that you've never heard of.

Movies reviewed so far:

Eat - 3 out of 3 fresh :outhouse:'s
Perfect Sisters - 5 out of 6 fresh :outhouse:'s
Down and Dangerous - 0 out of 3 fresh :outhouse:'s
Frankie and Alice - 5 out of 5 fresh :outhouse:'s
Ginger and Rosa - 4 out of 5 fresh :outhouse:'s
Life of Crime - 2 out of 4 fresh :outhouse:'s

How this works: Whenever I have $5 credits to spare and VUDU has something for $4.99 to buy, I will offer a limited amount of credits to people for review purposes. The cutoff limit will be different each time. If you redeem a credit and don't review the movie, you are out on the next three movies. You will have one week to review each movie. You can still review the movie of the week even if I didn't give you credits to buy it and you've already watched it.

Perks: For every seventh movie you review you will get the next pick of movie for the group to review. This is as long as VUDU keeps running their deals of the day and I have spare credits for the week. If two people hit seven reviews in the same week, the person who got their review in first will get the next pick. The other person will be held over until the next pick.

Every Movie Club member will receive a slightly beat to hell Laser Disc of Tammy and the T-Rex.

To receive this insanely generous gift I just need your name, address, birthdate, social security number, and credit card info.

More hidden perks to come?

Round 1
4 available spots

Chuck season 5
True Blood season 4
Falling Skies season 1
Fringe season 4

One spot per person. Don't make me come over there!

I'm going to grab a bite to eat. Give me a little time to PM you. If it takes me awhile I promise it's not because I hate you.

I don't know. Why don't you watch it and report back to us? True Blood has a pretty big cast of characters to keep up with. A show like Chuck is much more n00b friendly.

I'll take Battleship only because I want to see if it's as horrible as they say. :-D
