Yasuyuki Ōno's Yume no Kaiyoiji (Route of Dreams) manga is being adapted into a live-action film. The film will open on November 17 in the T-Joy Nagaoka theater, and on November 24 in the T-Joy Niigata Bandai theater.

TV Tokyo have finally released the teaser for the upcoming second season of the “Hero Yoshihiko” midnight drama series, to be entitled “The Hero Yoshihiko and the Key of the Evil Spirit.” The new season, set 100 years after the first series, will start airing this October.

The official website for the upcoming Space Sheriff Gavan THE COMIC (宇宙刑事ギャバン THE COMIC) web manga series have finally opened. The comic will be released in a weekly basis, starting this October 17th.
Space Sheriff Gavan THE MOVIE scriptwriter Yuji Kobayashi (Ultraman Max, Gekiranger) posted on his blog some additional details on the web comic. He will also be writing for Space Sheriff Gavan THE COMIC. It will be directed by Tooru Fujisawa (GTO, Shonan Junai Gumi, GTR) with art and illustrations done by Masaki Ota (Silent Blood).

The classic Tatsunoko Productions science-fiction hero anime Science Ninja Team Gatchaman is getting a live-action film adaptation from the production company Nikkatsu and the distributor TOHO next summer. Director Toya Sato (live-action Grave of the Fireflies, Sexy Voice and Robo, Kaiji, Gokusen) will begin shooting the film on October 15. Yūsuke Watanabe (20th Century Boys, Gantz, Bloody Monday, 2013 Dragon Ball Z film) wrote the script, and Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed films) is designing the characters.
Gaijin may know Gatchaman as "Battle of the Planets" or "G-Force".
