As announced at their panel at New York Comic-Con, the famous "gender-swapped" episode of Adventure Time is coming to comics.  The publisher announced the six-issue limited series will kick off this January, marking an expansion of their partnership with the Pendleton Ward-created Cartoon Network property (in addition to the Adventure Time ongoing, the publisher also released the just-completed Marceline & the Scream Queens limited series, and Ward's next creation, Bravest Warriors, will see its first issue hit stands this week).  Here's the press release:

The funny thing about this is that the episode was making fun of the tumblr crowd in a relatively on-the-nose and unflattering way, but the "fandom" seems to have missed the point and made it extremely popular.
