RECOMMENDATIONS: Story/Collection For The Week Of 10/24/2012

New Feature where we talk about what you should be buying this week.

This is a place where trade waiters, box-o-comics, and weekly shoppers can get together and see what is coming out this week and discuss it. Trade waiters can see what the weekly people are getting to add to their list, Box-O-Comics people can wet their whistle while they wait for DCBS or MOC to come to their home and everyone can talk about anything they want.

Playing the odds - there will probably be SPOILERS

I'll start with a question
I have found that I do not really like Hickman all that much, is Manhattan Projects (vol 1 out this week) worth it?

Not sure if I you aren't a Hickman fan, but I think that it's boss. :smt102

What do you not like about hickman. . his Marvel stuff is quite different from his Image stuff. . really I find his work outside of Marvel to be much superior.

Every seems to have the same cadence that ends with a world shattering revelation that wil rock us...until the same thing happens next issue

It's the best thing of his I've ever read (and I've not gotten around to Nightly News yet, which I hear is better).

I would be foaming from the mouth for a feature thread like tjis, but One Week timespan takes me out of the equation. Good luck on getting this flowing.

Im Reading doctor strange season One atm. Medíocre at best.

why?
you can talk about anything you want and there is a link to what new trades are coming out so you can keep a list.
the once a week thing is to make sure the thread doesn't get so big as to scare off new posters

Season one of the good Doctor Strange is not very good. Art is muddy and the story is way past convenient.

Now I'm gonna try my luck with Outer Orbit
