With Joy and some Luck, Ming-Na Wen will be joining TV's S.H.I.E.L.D Club.

Source: Ming-Na To Star In Joss Whedon’s ABC Pilot ‘Marvel’s S.H.I.E.L.D.’

Joss Whedon has added Ming-Na Wen (Joy Luck Club, Mulan, Eureka, E.R., Stargate Universe) to his cast in Marvel's upcoming S.H.I.E.L.D. television show.

Wen will play Agent Melinda May, ace pilot and weapons expert. She is described as "soulful and slightly damaged". In the original cast description May was listed as Agent Althea Rice, aka. "The Calvary".

Wen joins Clark Gregg (Agent Phil Coulson) to the growing cast of S.H.I.E.L.D.

But that movie's So Bad It's Good!

With the tag team of Ming-Na and Kylie Minogue playing 2 of the sexiest characters in video games, Raul Julia (R.I.P.) chewing the scenery as M. Bison, and memorable lines like "But for Me... It Was Tuesday", this still managed to be an enjoyable movie. :-D

The fact remains: That movie manages to entertain, in spite of its shortcomings.

As opposed to, say, the Super Mario Bros. live-action film... :smt011

To you the day you sat and watched the Street Fighter movie was one of the worse days of your movie watching life. But for the Ming Na, it was Tuesday.
