Someone just told Merle way too much.

I know they've said The Governor in the show will start out like this, more civilized.. and it will be a descent into the brutality and madness he had in the comics..

But I really hope they resist the urge to just have Merle be the psychotic one and have him do the stuff from the book.

He does seem so nice at the moment, doesn't he?

And they saved Merle and the pilot when they could have killed them both when they found them.

Of course he may still kill the pilot after interrogating him.

And I kind of like that -- as long as they do show him descending into the sick fuck he is in the comics.

I'd like to see that journey, or even to see that this nice guy act is just that.. an act.

It'd be an interesting break from the books. Maybe for the better.

This is a very low key episode. If I didn't love the whole Woodbury stuff from the books, I don't know if I would care much about this B-plot to the show so far. This episode needs to end with a BANG for non-comic fans.

They did just make it sound like Merle might be the one to worry about..

I wonder if the doctor drugged their tea though.

I think it keeps the prison scenes from becoming too claustrophobic. And the dude playing the Governor is kind of awesome. Plus Merle is back (now with detachable knife-arm).

I bet something fucked up will happen for the cliffhanger though.

When I said it needed to end with a bang, I didn't think it'd be literal.

There's some of that hardcore Governor!

My problem with the whole episode is the fact that Andrea is swayed so fucking easily.

And the fact that she told Merle way too much. At least be on guard somewhat you frakking idiot. :smt011

And yeah I know I'll get yelled at but I gave it a 5 because after the last 2 weeks and except for that ending this episode was way too slow.

Stupid people exist in fiction, just as they do in real life. :smt102

Listening to the guys that plays the Governor if I wasn't looking at him I would swear he was Liam Neeson! He sounds so much fucking like him!

This was a bit of a slow overly talkative episode but I still really enjoyed it. I was hesitant at first about the show straying so far from the source material but they are doing an excellent job with the directions they are taking.

It was good. Kind of felt a little like one of those in between episodes where previews next week look better and would have rather watched it along with that one. Probably because it focused solely on Andrea and Governor side and was just a bit talky. Or that it's just following some great episodes.
