At this rate Kick-Ass 3 and Image United will be finished before the first arc.
Source: A December Without Uncanny Avengers? In what comes as no surprise to anyone who read, heard about, or was awake during the publications of Warren Ellis’ Planetary or Joss Whedon’s Astonishing X-Men run, Rick Rememder’s Uncanny Avengers #3 has been delayed from December to the middle of January. There is one thing all of these books have in common, but here at The Outhouse, we are trying not to harp on the obvious…today…in this article (hey, we’re trying).
Over at Bleeding Cool, which we have helpfully linked to right here, because it's the right thing to do, ...they are floating the theory that these delays are good for the book so retailers can increase or (and more likely) decrease their orders based on sales, expectations, customer annoyance levels, and general ambivalence.
Outhouse contributor, Superginraix, has a more plausible theory; that these delays are planned because, although Marvel is going to resurrect Xavier at the end of this arc, no one knows what to do with him after that, so instead of having him do nothing for years...again, they are just going to keep putting his return off.
All we know for sure is that it will be a sad ChritmaHannaKwanza with no new Uncanny Avengers in December.
