Congrats SNL, your next skit just wrote itself. Send all Thank You cards directly to Michael Bay.
Source: Fox News When Shia LeBeouf turned down starring in the 4th Transformers movie everyone wondered, who can they possibly get to replace this dramatic and thrilling actor? No one could possibly fill his shoes, especially since Megan Fox is no longer around to stand seductively over an open car hood. Well, for those of you holding your breath in anticipation it was just announced today that Mark Wahlberg is going to play the lead in the new Transformers 4 movie. For some people this is exciting news, while others have deemed it just proof that the sounds of a toilet flushing can be heard around the world as Wahlberg's career spins toward it's timely disappearance into the sewers. Dirkahdirk Digglier, a Transformers fan and ironically not a fan of Boogie Nights, commented that "The only logical step for Wahlberg after being in an M. Night Shyamalan movie was a Michael Bay movie. I would take off my hat in remembrance of his once hopeful career, but I'm not wearing one."
With so much time between now and the movie's release in 2014 everyone has to wonder a few things. When the transformers stand around, should we call them a funky bunch? Also, if a transformer falls to the ground during combat, will they write in a line asking everyone if they can feel the vibrations? The answer to these and many other questions is...that only time will tell if with Wahlberg and Bay's powers combined they can summon Captain Planet.
