Free previews of the book are coming out, and the Amazing Spider-Man writer doesn't want the twist spoiled.
Today both on his Twitter/Facebook, Dan Slott, The Amazing Spider-Man and soon to be Superior Spider-Man writer pleaded to readers and reviewers of the book this message:
Heads up: People are getting their hands on review/advance copies of ASM #698. I see anyone spoiling it ahead of time (before November 21st): I will BLOCK you for life on ALL social media. Very serious. We've worked VERY hard to keep this stuff under wraps and make this fun for people WHEN they read the book. We've done all we can on this end-- now it's up to you.
Now unlike that other fiendish website, Bleeding Cool, reporter Ricch Johnston will be spoiling the comic come November 21 (the day the issue is released). But we here at the Outhouse aren't, because we won't be getting a free copy. Of course if we did, the outcome would be simple. If this reporter posts these spoilers he knows Dan Slott will find him, but not block him. For he knows Slott has a certain set of very particular skills; skills he has acquired over a very long career. Skills that will make it a nightmare for a fans/reporters such as myself. Speaking with history on my side, Slott will find you. And not only will he block you he will troll you to kingdom come.
With that said to anyone who dares to cross Dan Slott I say, GOOD LUCK.
Also tommorrow, the Spider-Man event, Danger Zone, concludes with Amazing Spider-Man #697. Original and superior Hobgoblin, Roderick Kingsley quoted on the contents of the issue, "It's great! Steal it!" No word yet if Slott will publically chop off his head again for encouraging readers to steal comics to this reporter's dismay.
