Damn that is a nice list. And you reminded me that I forgot to add Wolverine: First Class. If Peter David is writing it then I'm there.

Though I was really on the fence for the Wolverine one-shots, I was afraid it was going to be a bunch of bottom drawer scripts and reprints.

I am so weak. I caved and order all three of these last night.

I am so an Orange Lantern.

Hmm. . I need a sig of an Orange Lantern with a lot of comics.

So who's reading Young Liars from Vertigo. I just got to the latest issue from my box and all I can say is What The @#$@$.

I dropped Invisibles early on in the series because it was too weird but YL is going in that direction for me. Mind you I did just order bottom drawer Wolverine filler issues so my taste in books varies.

I love that Young Liars repeatedly kicks me in the nuts month after month after month. The midget, the spiders from mars, the baby arm - it's just an in-freaking-sane book and it's a coin flip between it and Echo month to month on which series I love more. It is definitely weird and I honestly can't always tell what the hell is going on but I'm a big Lapham fan and if you've read enough of Stray Bullets you know that he'll eventually tie all of the crazy together and make sense out of it.

#11 left everyone with a major WTF feeling.

I can't wait for #12.

Lapham has said online that the book is currently contracted for 18 issues, but he's hoping to get at least another arc if not more.

A few of us from Rama and some people from his forum at Standard Attrition all got together and posted 5 star reviews on Amazon and it actually had an effect on sales for the first trade. Hopefully that and more word of mouth can keep the series going.

I went ahead and added Bayou and Point Blank back to my order for this month.

I've been under $100 for a few months now so I figured a little splurging wouldn't hurt.

I thought Heroes Corner provided free monthly shipping, but I'm seeing that it cost about $5. Is this wrong?

If I ever try that, I'm pretty sure my wife will immediately file for divorce...

They just started charging last month.
I'm sure the free bags and boards will go next.
