In an interview with EW.com Kirkman stated the December 2 fall finale of the AMC drama will feature a new character straight from The Walking Dead comic.

“There’s a new character added,” Kirkman told EW. “A big deal fan favorite from the comic book is introduced into the show in this episode, so be on the lookout for that.”

EW‘s speculation is based on the fact that Chad Coleman, who played boxing instructor Cutty on The Wire, has been “spotted around the show’s Atlanta filming area.”

ugh - Stupid phone. Stupid Andrea.

Not as strong as the rest of the season has been. Not much besides filler material.

Second the ugh for the predictable Rick's subconscious mind's ghost phonecalls from heaven. It was so obvious a direction to go in, I just assumed they wouldn't. Reminded me of ugh Lost.

My least favorite episode too, but every show can have an average episode. I still say the baby is dragging things down.

Didn't really care for this episode at all. I don't like the Andrea and Governor stuff at all. I am glad that Michonne got away and found the prison but I hated that Glenn and Maggie had to get kidnapped like that. One of them or both of them should have just shot Merle's dumb ass! You would think these people that have been going through this shit for so long would have learned shit like that by now! I am glad they did the thing with the phone and glad they didn't drag it on for multiple episodes and just let Rick get through the grief and move on. The last scene with Michonne walking up to the gate wasn't as cool as when we first saw her in the comics, but it was still a pretty damn cool scene. This epsidoe was a lot of set up and filler to me and I rated it so much lower because the other episodes this season have been so much better.

It was a fine episode. Not as intense as the last two, but that's okay. The show needs to build new plotlines. I have no major complaints with this or any other episode this season. This is great TV as far as I'm concerned. Basically as good as it gets.

Agreed, Eli.

We've been spoiled by the pace of the earlier episodes, but there wasn't anything wrong with this one.

This was a decent episode, I can't believe you gave it a 10 Chris.

Easily the worst episode in awhile. Still better than most anything else on TV. Gave it a 6. Above average in comparison to other shows, but way below standard for this season.

I dont think there was anything specifically wrong with this episode, it just didn't have the twists and turns we've been used to this season. Like others have said, that doesn't make it a bad episode. I'm especially glad they didn't drag out the Carol stuff.
