Bendis. Deodato. Heroes for Hire? (Spoilers)

A tweet from The Great One Brian Bendis hints at a new Heroes for Hire Book. Spoilers for New Avengers #34 inside...

Just now on Twitter, "The Great One" Brian Bendis posted the following:

hey Avengers fans! that was fun! 232 issues of crazy! is my last page hinting at a new book by me and @mikedeodato ??

Of course, the last page of New Avengers #34, for those who haven't read it, shows Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Squirrel Girl walking away and talking about Heroes for Hire.

Fairly cut and dry there, folks.

The Great One is obviously trying to break Scott Lobdell's record for most books written for a single company at the same time.

I was wondering where Deodato would show up. Not TOO psyched for this book, though. Will Iron Fist be involved?

That rumor has to start somewhere, so sure. Iron Fist is in it. He and Squirrel Girl have romantic tension at the office. Luke and Jessica are trying to keep the flames lit as their marriage settles a bit. Also they all have to take down the dangerous pairing of Big Brother and Yandroth who have moved into new york.

It won't be as good as DnA's Heroes for Hire (Damn, why did that have to get cancelled?!)

However, Bendis has redeemed himself big time when it came to the X-men, so I'm willing to check this out. I've also been a fan of Deodato Jr. since his Wonder Woman run.

Long as Deodato's not drawing Osborn to look like Tommy Lee Jones, I'm down with him.
