Yet another classic 90s cartoon appears to be in the revival stages.
Earlier this week, we learned the Powerpuff Girls are getting a new revived show, but that appears to be not the only 90s cartoon property clawing it's way back. It also appears SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron might return as well.
At a Reddit Q&A, co-creator Christian Tremblay revealed that he and others are in the early stages of bringing back the property. He also revealed that there will be a Kickstarter campaign starting soon, but didn't reveal if it would fund a test animation for the new series, or something else. No word yet if Tremblay will call for "chopper back-up."
For those too young or cannot remember the show, it aired on TBS & Cartoon Network for just two seasons before being canceled due to the violent for innocent kids to watch. If you need anything else to kickstart your memory of this show here's the S1 intro:
