Want to know who the bad guy in Justice League will be? Read on to find out.

Latino Review is reporting that Darkseid will be the villain in the upcoming Justice League movie, scheduled for release in 2015. Making a cosmic villain like Darkseid the bad guy in Justice League is, of course, ripping off Thanos as the bad guy in Avengers 2, due out the same year. At the same time, Thanos himself is a ripoff of Darkseid. The situation has caused confusion amongst fanboys, who aren't sure who to blame.

"Everyone is ripping off everyone else," said one disgruntled fanboy who prefers to keep a positive attitude. "So I'm just going to complain about both movies and call it a day."

Plans for Justice League were hastily thrown together after the success of Marvel's Avengers this year. Marvel's recent movie success, however, was a ripoff of DC's success with Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. The success of the Dark Knight trilogy was a ripoff of Marvel's X-Men and Spider-Man trilogy success, which itself was a ripoff of the original Batman movies by Tim Burton. Many experts believe that the trail for cinematic ripoffs can be traced all the way back to an abysmal live action Spider-Man television show that aired from 1977 to 1979.

Justice League, Avengers 2, and Star Wars Episode 7 will all be out in the summer of 2015. Which do you think will reign supreme?

Surprised they didn't go with Sinestro given he's been established as going bad in the post-credits.

If it'll culminate in a parademon invasion of earth, then Thanos won't be the only thing that'll appear to be a ripoff. people who don't know the comics will automatically assume they're ripping off the Avengers on that too.

The rip-off accusations are inevitable, and to be honest, even a die-hard JL fan like me can't help but notice that they picked the one DC villain who's closest in appearance to Thanos.

When did Darkseid become THE big, bad JL villain? Rock of Ages?
