Marvel has sent out an interesting promo for Hawkeye #9.

So, is Marvel hinting at a Hawkeye and Spawn crossover with its latest teaser image?

Nah.

It looks like there will be a new character that shares a similar name to the Spawn villain, The Clown, in Hawkeye #9.

The image was released along with the words:

“You dead now, bro.” – Matt Fraction

Hawkeye #9 by Matt Fraction and David Aja will appear on shelves in March 2013.
