Just looking at that - not a lot of options. Avoiding Marvel as they've been up the last 3 weeks in a row.

Django Unchained is an option but the $4.99 price tag will keep many away.
Batgirl would be nice with all the Gail Simone hubabulla but it's in the middle of a massive arc.
Judge Dredd #2 would be great if #1 hadn't stunk so much.
Nowhere Men #2 would be great and I did enjoy #1.

But there's one book I can't ignore and it hasn't been a Review book for almost 6.5 years...

Before it was published, Avengers Arena #1 was seen by some as a poorly conceived series that would see their favorite characters ruined from both a plot and a character standpoint. After reading issue #1, I can say that it's an entertaining comic that's more concerned with plot than characterization. Hopeless' script is more focused on bringing new readers into the action than giving a deep look at all the characters involved. What Hopeless does manage to do is to nicely setup the emotional kick at the end of the comic that should resonate with readers old and new. Backed by some enjoyable art, issue #1 is an entertaining start to the series. I'm curious as to see if it can grow over time into something great.
