Well, actually, the only problem he mentioned concerning the post-Zero-Hour "Archie Legion" (my personal favorite version) is that he didn't like Snake Jeckie. I pointed out that the writers were actually on their way to correcting that, but he didn't respond.

I think it's the battle scarred face that annoys me. It looks like Cable humped Captain Carrot and K'Rot fell out.

Remember Conkers Bad Fur Day? That worked twice as well because of the characters wholesome image.

Indeed. I just wish he wasn't altering characters -- especially ALREADY FUN ones like Captain Carrot -- beyond recognition in order to manufacture some fun.

This is an obvious Guardians of the Galaxy knock-off

I like Keith Giffen sometimes, but I'm passing on this.

I think that's kind of the point, proven success and all.

I was pretty happy with the Legion during Waid's Threeboot. At least it took risks that weren't "crash TV" kinds of things. Legionaires acted like actual teenagers/young adults, and not like stock characters.

Archie Legion had a more problems than Jeckie being a snake. A lot of the other retcons were groaners too (like Brande turning out to be J'onn J'onzz).
