i'm still convinced that the Wonder Woman in her own book is in a completely different DCnUniverse than the one in JL. they're in no way the same character.

I had to let this book go. Would someone be kind enough to let me know when it becomes readable again? Thanks in advance.

Reis' beautiful artwork will be a big plus, and with the focus being on Arthur and Atlantis maybe that Aquaman-style writing will drift into this title now.

When has this version of the Justice League ever been a readable title? :smt102

I really, really do not want to buy this book, so I am hoping that Aquaman's half of the story will be self-contained enough to make sense without having to read Justice League...although one would hope that since John's is writing both titles, Justice League should be the most tolerable that it has been so far.

I'm just guessing here....

Ocean Master gets the Johns sympathetic yet deranged badass villain treatment, is on the verge of conquering the world and/or Atlantis until Aquaman comes through against all odds in a heroic final confrontation to bitch slap him back into the jobber category by the end of it.

Yes, they're nothing alike. I've only just come back to WW after dropping it at #4. Have caught up with the issues I've missed & it's great.
JL version is one-dimensional, almost a parody. JL needs a new writer. Is the new art team permanent or just on for the Aquaman crossover? Jim Lee off the book would be a step forward.

Reis and Prado are the new regular "JL" artists. Paul Pelletier takes over on "Aquaman"

Thanks for that. Double dose of good news - absolutely love Pelletier's work.
