1. Wonder Woman
2. Fables
3. The Unwritten
4. American Vampire
5. Chew
6. Earth 2
7. Thor: God of Thunder
8. Fairest
9. Demon Knights
10. Journey Into Mystery

That's current stuff, if we were going for best of 2012 then Atomic Robo would have a spot on that list as well as Uncanny X-Force and Journey Into Mystery would be at #1.

The plan is to compile an OH top ten by awarding points to each book - 10 for first place, 9 for second and so on.

THis is going to take some serious thought.

Top 10 Comics for 2012
10) Mega Man: The best youth oriented comic out there and might be one of the smartest superhero comics being produced.

9) Princeless: Great Characters + Trope Subversion + A Masterfully done Plot = Yes Please

8) The Li'l Depressed Boy: The ultimate underdog you can't help but root for.

7) Chew: Solid from Issue #1, but the last arc has finally gotten me to count down the days for the next issue, again.

6) Invincible: For my 22 cents, this IS the best written Superhero comic out there.

5) Conan The Barbarian: For being a storyline that's been done before, Wood is making it feel quite fresh, which says a lot about Wood.

4) The Massive: Speaking of Brian Wood, it's due to his writing that the Massive is probably Dark Horse's signature title from a creative standpoint. Image has been getting the lion share of the praise for its' commitment to sophisticated comics, but if The Massive is a sample of what to expect, 2013 might see Dark Horse give Image a run for its' money.

3) The Unwritten: This could be one of the greatest comics of all time by the time the final issue is on the stands

2) American Vampire: Forget AvX, The Blacklist was the storyline of the year.

1) Saga (This has a GREAT Chance of surpassing Fables as THE top of the pile book): WOW! This has been as perfect of a start to a story as I've seen in the Past 5 years. It's only been 8 issues, but the world feels deep, the plot is multi-layered and each focus character feels full realized. This is what comics should be.

11 That almost made it
Life With Archie, Fables/Fairest, Witchblade, X-Factor, Animal Man, Fatale, Elephantman, The Sixth Gun, New Crusaders, Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

5 to watch for in 2013
New Avengers, Fearless Defenders, Devolution, The New Crusaders, 47 Ronin

09) Walking Dead
08) Hypernaturals
07) Green Lantern
06) Batman
05) Fables
04) Aquaman
03) Wonder Woman
02) American Vampire

And at #1...

01) All-Star Western

Just missed - Hawkeye, Earth 2 & Unwritten

3. American Vampire
4. The Unwritten
6. Daredevil
7. Swamp Thing
8. Fatale
9. All-New X-Men

Only included X-Men of the NOW! relaunches, because of how many issues it has had out.. but Thor and Hulk would be on here as well with a couple more issues, probably.
