As always, I love lists...I actually pick books up based on this stuff.

Here's mine:

1. Uncanny X-Force -- No way I wasn't putting this down. It just ended this month and was easily my favorite book in 2012

2. Hawkeye -- Loving everything about this book

3. Wolverine & the X-Men -- Absolutely love the old-school vibe mixed with modern writing techniques

4. Thor: God of Thunder -- It doesn't bother me that Marvel NOW! just started...good is good, IMO

5. Hypernaturals -- I was really glad to see other people are reading this, as well

6. Indestructible Hulk -- Damn if Mark Waid didn't come up with a premise that interests me, which isn't easy to do with the Hulk

7. Aquaman -- Tragic, for me, that the first DC book I have is ranked 7th

8. Earth 2 -- I am totally enjoying the "anything goes" aspect of this series

9. Legion of Super-Heroes -- Yes, I still read it, and yes, I still enjoy it. I simply ignore Nacireman's ramblings

10. Avengers/Uncanny Avengers/Fantastic Four/FF: I have enjoyed every single one of the issues that have come out and honestly feel that the criticism Avengers has been getting is really nitpicking

Notes: After a really strong start, I really haven't enjoyed Batman as much, but that's likely due to me being absolutely tired of the Joker. It really wouldn't bother me if I never read a story with that character again...I still hold out hope that Justice League will one day be on this list, every single month...Green Lantern has gotten better with Simon Baz, despite the horrific origin, and just missed making the cut...I'm pretty sure Remender's Captain America is going to be cracking this list soon.

*Sniff, sniff* "Damn it, Diana...If I'd known they would trade us in for a JT Krul-written Captain Atom and "The Savage Hawkman," I'd have let Superboy-Prime destroy all reality."

"Superman flies and is really strong...what the fuck else do you need to know?!" -- Hitler, expressing his displeasure about DC rebooting and complaints about continuity

I'm surprised that The Unwritten is down at 5, it's such a great book.

True, but considering the fact that something like 80 titles have been named all together, I'd say it's doing pretty well.

I'm more surprised that Fables isn't in the top 10. Lots of good books coming out if that's getting shut out.

I'm currently having a massive back-log catch-up so my list is changing daily. Just read Hypernaturals - fantastic.

1 - Daredevil
2 - Aquaman
3 - Conan the Barbarian
4 - Hypernaturals
5 - Journey into Mystery
6 - All-Star Western
7 - The Shadow
8 - Walking Dead
9 - Lord of the Jungle
10 - Earth 2/Swamp Thing

Sorry, had to have two titles in 10th place. I buy a lot of comics & often wonder if many of them are actually any good or if it's just habit buying. This list has made me realise that there's a lot of stuff I really like. My 'top ten' could easily consist of 25+ titles.

Another thing about this list is that it's giving me new series to consider. Seems to be a lot of love for Saga & The Unwritten. Don't normally do trades (apart from hardcovers) I'd rather have the comics but looks like I'll have to break that rule.

Amoebas - did you pay quite a bit for Saga 1-8? I've looked on eBay and they're very expensive.

First trade (6 issues) is like 10 bucks or something.

Yes, was hoping to get the individual issues but can get the trade over here for about £6. Probably do that & if I like it start buying the monthly. Maybe it will get the HC treatment eventually.

It might get the Chew/Walking Dead/Invincible styled hardcover collection where two paperbacks are collected into one hardcover, which would be cool but Image does their collected editions different from Marvel and DC.

Once the hardcovers come out I'll give the tpbs to someone.
Had a search on Sixth Gun - another series I think I'll be buying in trade as the series is is pretty far along. Looks good. I've missed this stuff as my head has been too far up Marvel & DC's arses.
