NBC in the states, using the main channel and NBC Sports Network (that used to be Versus until Comcast bought NBC).

Apparently, the combined networks of NBC/NBC Sports reach a combined 95% of the american audience.

This is great. I've always thought soccer's biggest issue in catching on here was accessibility, and keeping it on a premium channel like Fox Soccer was a dumb move.

Fergie: Nani is staying put for this season:

Never understood why we're not playing him on the right hand side anymore though. He's obviously garbage on the left.

The only major exposure I've ever had is with Man U, because that's usually who they show on ESPN if they show anything at all.

And with the exception of a few players, the only people I know by name are all United guys from playing FIFA.. Rooney, Van Persie, Berbatov, Fletcher, Cleverley, Carrick, Welbeck, Hernandez, Nani, and Evra.

So I guess I'm a United fan by default, although that kind of feels like a cheat and being a frontrunner.

I watched QPR vs Liverpool over at a friend's place today.

Jeez what a absolutely crap piece of performance QPR put out today. They deserved to lose by more than 3 - 0 the way that they played.

Just a note, Man U/ManU is an insult used by supporters of other clubs stemming from chants regarding the Munich air disaster. From then its evolved into more classless insults spinning off from that.

Best to know that in case you talk to someone aware of that :P
