Over the weekend while on vacation in Florida. He's having difficulty with his right side and can't see properly, but he was able to write an update for his fans on his webpage today.

Wow, that's bad news. I am very sorry to hear that he had the stroke, although I am glad he is able to write and is well enough to update his fans. My Aunt has had several strokes, and it's sad to see how debilitating they can be.

I met Peter David in July and that was so great. Definitely the highlight of a year that has had more negative than positive things. I wish him the best and I hope his health improves.

His run on X-Factor is up there with Claremont as one of the best X-runs of all-time.

He's been one of my favorite writers for years, but now that I met him I can also say he's a great guy.

I honestly think he sets the bar as far as consistency, him and Willingham.
