The obvious answer is because no one was reading it.

Yeah, that's a classic "If a tree falls in the forest, does it make a sound" scenario, isn't it?

WTF is this rank?

Didn't Parasite NOT sleep with Clark while he was pretending to be Lois? Wasn't that one of the central parts of his plan of emotionally torturing Clark by pretending to be a scorned Lois?

I don't even remember this particular storyline...and I was a pretty regular Superman reader for a while...

That sounds really awful as well.

But if that is in fact true I'd say people were not as upset because Parasite is a villain and we were not expected to read a book where he was the "hero" but rather the clear villain.

I would assume because Parasite didn't kill Lois Lane and DC wasn't cancelling all the Superman titles to replace them with a title called the "Predominant Lois Lane" while trying to pass the change off as permanent. :smt102

From what I remember, "Lois" was giving Supes the cold shoulder as part of her plan to make him crazy, so it was unlikely any hanky panky was going on between the two of them. Though I think it was implied that there was some kind of affair between "Lois" and Lex Luthor.

Like all married man Superman only has sex with his wife once a year. Lucky for him, he shared the bed with Parasite for a month or so.

During Loeb/McGuiness's run on Superman proper. Also insinuated he had relations with Luthor while masquerading as Lois.
