Over the weekend while on vacation in Florida. He's having difficulty with his right side and can't see properly, but he was able to write an update for his fans on his webpage today.

Wow, that's bad news. I am very sorry to hear that he had the stroke, although I am glad he is able to write and is well enough to update his fans. My Aunt has had several strokes, and it's sad to see how debilitating they can be.

Superstar writer Peter David suffered a stroke over the weekend.
Source: Peter David's Website Peter David, writer of the highly acclaimed X-Factor, suffered a stroke over the weekend. He is having trouble with his right side and his vision. David posted an update on his website about it, but the site is experiencing difficulties. The Outhouse wishes him a full and speedy recovery.

I met Peter David in July and that was so great. Definitely the highlight of a year that has had more negative than positive things. I wish him the best and I hope his health improves.
