The Order I read them in was:
FC #1-3
Superman Betond: #1-2
FC #4
LOTW #1-3
FC #6-7
I would have to say that the 5 hours spent reading it was some of the sweetest time I've spent reading comics in a long time.
I have really liked the Marvel stuff from the last year but it has gotten so bloody depressing that I was really hoping for something that was just a big huge concept superhero slobberknocker and FC was exactly that, IMO.
The Superman Beyond isssues were probably my favorite and the 3-d effect really made it seem like we were in a complete other realm of reality.
The only complaint that I have is the pacing of the last issue. I think it would have been a bit cooler if they would have just let it unfold in a more standard , IE: chronological, format.
It was definitely they way to read it. I wish I would have got the two Batman issues but even then I really didn't miss them. Or any of the other tie-ins to tell the truth. I pretty much viewed it as a Superman story with the rest of the DCU as guest stars and I think that might have helped as well.
I will say that I can't imagine trying to make sense of this in somewhat monthly installments. It really needs to be taken in all at once.
Oh, and I am far from a Morrison fanboy, in case anyone was wondering. I just really liked this for what it was and I'd say it succeeded in my mind about 90% of the way, which in this day and age, is still pretty good.
