I love this show even though I find Timothy Olyphant extremely limited as an actor.

But the beauty of this show is that they found the best way to utilize his limitedness.

"He always grits his teeth and acts aggressive all the time? Let's make him a character where his anger and his inability to deal with it constructively is his defining trait."

Brilliant!

I heard Patton Oswalt is involved with this season as a Harlan County deputy. I'm excited for that.

Also: I remember hearing a rumor last season that Eric Stonestreet would show up as a villain this season. Does anyone know if that actually ended up happening?

Exactly. Olyphant is perfect as Raylan. Something Yost has said again and again in interviews. Yost is the creator and show runner.

It didn't. :(

Yeah, Patton is going to be a constable and a past classmate of Raylan's. His story will revolve around Arlo (Raylan's dad).

Here's an interview from Graham Yost posted just a few hours ago...

There are some spoilers about the season but they are pretty vague.

Cannot wait for tonight's episode! :band

I don't think any of you could ever realize how happy I was earlier today when I remembered that Wynn Duffy was, in fact, NOT killed at the end of last season. I'm interested to see how that psychopath has been dealing with life now that he's had a taste of life with a TRUE psychopath after dealing with Quarles.

Yeah it should be interesting where those two are up too. However Duffy still has Quarles boss breathing down his neck.

But didn't Quarles' boss order Duffy to kill him? I'm sure he might continue to interfere in Duffy's life, but it's not like he's mad at Duffy for the outcome of last season's final episode.

All depends given Duffy didn't kill him.

Okay so far we have a REAL nice female ass, Patton Oswalt, Raylan doing what Raylan does best, and Boyd doing what Boyd does best... FIRE IN THE HOLE.

While I love Patton Oswalt, I found his parts of the episode to be way too goofy. However, I trust this show to build an awesome, character driven arc around him if he becomes a recurring character.

The final 15 minutes of the episode were part of the Justified I know and love. I'm really interested in seeing how religion plays into this season after Boyd's dealings with it to manipulate his followers in season 1. I'm also wondering about Boyd's friend who showed up in this episode. I always find it hokey when a character who was a "huge" part of a main character's life suddenly shows up seasons into a show's run without ever being mentioned before. But, once again, I trust Justified to make it awesome.

Also. The ending. Holy shit. Arlo's gone feral on us.

I really wonder what the hell Arlo did. Makes me wonder. When did Raylan's mom go to Limehouse for protection? The 80s right? You don't suppose this is the reason why she did?
