Nope, it's just a weak-ass teaser promoting the second arc of the run.
Source: Marvel Marvel played the role of cocktease this morning when it released a teaser for Superior Spider-Man entitled "Fired!" For a brief, shining moment, fans thought that Marvel was announcing the departure of Dan Slott, the controversial writer whose Spider-Man run culminated in Doctor Octopus taking over Spider-Man's body in order to stare at Mary Jane Watson's chest without reproach.
Alas, the Internet's hope wasn't to be. The teaser is only for the second arc of Superior Spider-Man, which will feature Spider-Man getting fired by the Avengers. The arc will be written by Dan Slott with art by Humberto Ramos. If it's anything like the rest of Dan Slott's run, we can expect needlessly wordy dialogue squeezed into every available panel space, a tired, juvenile and unimaginative plot and characterization more wooden than a mannequin of Lucy Liu.
"Fired" will be released in April 2013.
