I saw that and didn't like it. Beast looks nothing like he does in the comics:

His face is way too scrunched up. The costume is fairly generic; I don't think any version of Beast has had a costume exactly like that. Also, the sculpt is very bottom heavy, with more bulk in the legs than the top, a look that's all wrong for Beast.

Meanwhile, the figure that I purchased is a dead ringer for the way John Cassaday draws him. That's the definite winner!

Yeah, you made the right choice (although I personally hated cat Beast).

I thought an Ape Beast figure might look cool, and then I thought twice about having an action figure of a hairy blue gentleman in briefs on my desk.

So I bought an action figure of a shirtless blue catman in pants? Yeah, I know.

Classics Bebop and Rocksteady are coming! There's a third rumored figure but Playmates seems to want to reveal that one at Toyfair next month. Gee I wonder who it'll be? :P

So does anyone have advice about action figure stands? Where can I find them?

Only Bebop toy I'd be interested in would be a model/toy of this:

Holy cow... They are making an SIC (see my name) version of Buzz and Woody. That's so weird.

If you haven't noticed too Hasbro has FINALLY done away with the shitty powerizer gimmick on their voyagers.

ALSO! A Marvel Legends question for people.

I saw on EBay that there's a Marvel Legends Archangel figure (part of the Hit Monkey BAF wave) marked as having been released in 2013. Since we're less than a month into the year, I'd expect to be able to find it at Target currently. I haven't seen it, though. Has this figure been released in limited quantities, or has it yet to hit shelves? I love Archangel and think this would look awesome in the area above my desk at work, but I can only find the figure going for $40+ on EBay, and I won't spend more than $20 on an action figure.

http://www.preternia.com/2013/01/24/mar ... -revealed/

So bad news. The Marvel Legends Iron Man 3 first round of figures? Two of the three are repaints or reissue of older figures (Iron Patriot is a repainted Extremis Iron Man, Classic Iron Man is from the two-pack that had Maria Hill save no Tony Stark head).

The worse news? Fall of 2013 to get the remaining parts to comic Iron Monger. That's right. You have to wait six months for the other half of wave one.

W... T.... F...?!

Supposedly though Classic Ultron, Mark 42, and Mark VI will be the remaining figures.

The 411: Is a 6-Inch Star Wars Line Imminent?
Posted by Rich on January 28, 2013 at 02:42 AM CST
According to our spies, Gentle Giant and Hasbro are collaborating in the development of a super-articulated, highly detailed 6-inch Star Wars line. Since the two companies already work together on Hasbro's Marvel Legends line, partnering up for a 6-inch Star Wars line isn't inconceivable.

Reports put at least two figures a good distance into the development process and one spy notes the quality saying "I don't collect Star Wars, but if these come out I'm going to." The question is, will you? Join the discussion in our forums and share your thoughts.
