I'll second this, it's got a whole MODOK thing going on

I thought there was no limit on the 2nd's?

And I think 5 noms is enough. You start adding more, it starts becoming like the Oscars with 10 Best Movies, and then these threads start taking 3-4 hours blah blah blah....

currently the limit is 7

the one thread thing is to make the front page / facebook / twitter interaction easier - also so creators can see any discussion when I tweet them the results

nothing will change until next week, if anything does

To be fair I think the one thread is for nominating and the same thread to vote isn't very good. I liked the 2 thread format.

7 nominations might dilute the votes a bit. Most weeks there aren't 5 let alone 7 worthy covers.

5 covers seems just about right.

Nominate or second, I don't think there's need for both.

We are all attention whores (except me of course). Add the name of the nominatee for the winning cover in the next week's thread.

Excellent suggestions. I support you 100%

And now my nomination is Dial H #8

So we can nominate / second as many as we want individually? As long as we get to 7 per week?

I'm somewhat tempted to vote for it just to see how it'd work out on the front page.
