The Outhouse has started a petition to force The Big Bang Theory to be more funny.
Source: WhiteHouse.gov This week has been consumed with fan outrage against a new episode of The Big Bang Theory, which lightly poked fun at female comic book readers. While the Outhouse was quick to dismiss the controversy as blog generated drivel, our minds were quickly swayed after watching the episode.
"It's not funny," said Outhouse television watcher ThanosCopter. "At all. I didn't laugh once. There was one instance that I thought I was about to laugh, but it ended up being mild indegestion."
With that, the Outhouse has decided to fully back the wave of anti-Big Bang Theory sentiment and take the lead in bringing about everlasting change. Unlike other websites, who whine and moan in order to get more hits, we have decided to take this fight to the next level and petition the United States government to step in. So, the Outhouse has created an Whitehouse.gov petition to have the US government make the show more funny.
"This is a brilliant idea," said liberal activist and Outhouse webmaster Jude Terror. "It's not like the White House has anything better to do."
The petition lays out the main issues with The Big Bang Theory, namely that it's not all that funny, and explains why this should be a government issue. "Unfunny shows ruin the economy," explained ThanosCopter. "No one wants to buy their DVDs. Also, people getting upset about unfunny shows means that they're not doing things like building infrastructure or driving the economy or securing our freedom abroad."
While the Outhouse will leave how the government chooses to intervene to President Obama and his staff, they did make a suggestion on how to proceed. "We knew President Obama likes to use drone strikes to handle problems," said Terror. "So we suggested he just use that as a bargaining chip."
