Spinoff is reporting that, though ABC passed on AKA Jessica Jones, the show is still alive and may end up on cable television. AKA Jessica Jones is based on the Alias comic written by The Great One Brian Bendis, and famously features Luke Cage having the butt secks with Jones. Since that's all we remember about the series, we imagine it to be a focal point of the television show, and are therefore not surprised that it is looking for a home on cable.

In an early candidate for understatement of the year, the show's producer, Melissa Rosenberg, said, "It might be a cable show, really. The graphic novel is the first one that Marvel did that was meant to serve an adult audience. I toned it down a little bit for network, but it’s very, very easy to translate that into cable. Very easy."

Yeah, they're doing such a bang-up job getting Powers onto the small screen so far, I think they should definitely take a crack at another comic property.
