..and that's make me enjoy Wonder Woman. Outside of the DCAU, I thought she was a waste.

I tried to read the Perez books and a few others (I erased then as garbage) but this WW is great.

This is true for me also, I used to really dislike Wonder Woman, and couldn't see the point of her, but the Azzarello/Chiang/Akins book has been amazing.

Probably because it's not even really a superhero book, it's more like Percy Jackson for adults.

Never read/heard those books, but if you're comparing them to WW, I know what in buying for my nephew.

Back to WW, it goes to show that there are no shitty characters. It just takes a good creative team to put the proper spin on said character. Between this, and the DC Dark titles, I'm not of picking up any DC.
