First issue: Todd wants desperately to make friends, but every kid he approaches winds up decapitated. Or worse. Meanwhile, Todd's mother is on a mission to get even with her husband who she believes is having an affair.

Todd, The Ugliest Kid on Earth #1 is quite the shitty comic. It takes place in a sick and depressing world filled with fucked up characters. Under the guidance of someone with sharp wit, this could be a good comic. That is not the case here. Instead, the twisted parts of this comic come off as juvenile and, worst of all, unfunny. It travels down the same road of poorly executed and over-the-top humor of comics such as Whore and Alpha Girl. When considering whether or not to buy this, just don't.

Todd the Ugliest Kid on Earth #1

Some really fun artwork throughout this book. Too bad the plot and writing is pathetic at best.

I suppose the writer wants us to feel bad to Todd. Me? I feel bad for the writer. The best part of the story are when the frog and girl are killed - but only because they don't have to be in the next issue.

Shame too, because the book has a type of 'Mazing Man look to it (except where 'Mazing Man was about positives, this book is anything but).
