I finished up Batman: R.I.P. I've found that reading Morrison's past Batman works have definitely answered a bunch of questions I had, but it also opened up a bunch of new ones. I think it answered more than it opened though.

Now, I'm reading Final Crisis. Pretty...odd, but I'm enjoying it.

I checked it, and it seems pretty cool. I have a couple of questions. First, what is the part in Spanish? Do you just repeat the same things for those who read in Spanish? Also, you talk about your art at the top, but I didn't see any of it.

Beyond that, I don't have too much to say since I don't follow any of those comics.

May I recommend Seven Soldiers of Victory?

It is without a doubt Grant Morrison's finest post-Marvel DC work.

Yes, the Spanish part is a translation.

I have reviewed a lot of Morrison comics, you might want to check those out one day.

This. Final Crisis had some great ideas but the end result was just a convoluted mess.

Finished the Kirby Black Panther stuff. Good read. The series feels similar to Mister Miracle with the ideas and villains but it stands on it's own two. Panther is a pretty straightforward hero. My only gripe is that the panther musketeers were ludicrous. I would recommend this to people but they should probably go "digital" since the collections are pretty pricey. The first six or seven issues are great and high energy but they start to meander a bit beyond that. Issue ten climaxes abruptly and eleven and twelve are good but the energy doesn't carry. Issue thirteen has no trace of Jack and wraps up the story. Makes me wonder if he was only scheduled to launch it or if they took him off because of sales. I think it only lated 15 issues.

I started The Sixth Gun Vol. 1 last night and I am a little more than halfway through it. So far I am really enjoying it. The mixture of the wild west with supernatural themes reminds me of some of my favorite parts of the Dark Tower book series, so even though the stories are completely different, it's a very familiar feeling when reading the story. I would say that at this point in the story I know more about the villain, General Oleander Hume, than I do about the rest of the characters, which I think is the point of this series right now, but I am definitely intrigued enough to continue reading the story.
