Really fucking stupid but thats what I expect from CN these days. Wonderful show like YJ to be replaced by a Batman show that looks from early glimpses to be an steam pile of turd.

I'm more upset that Tron: Uprising was canceled.

And yet the abomination that is known as Ultimate Spider-Man LIVES.

Anybody know what the actual ratings GL and YJ got? I assume that would have something to do with they're being canceled, y'know. Even if they were decent, they might not have been enough to justify putting in the money to produce more episodes.

Young Justice's latest episode was doing REAL good. Like either third or second in ratings. GL was like #10. It was doing leaps and bounds better than a lot of other Cartoon Network programing. So if it's based on ratings then it's a head scratchier.

However the fact that it's toy line bombed could be a reason.

If Mattel owned CN, I could believe that.

I just have to think that maybe he cost of production didn't justify continuing both series.

I said months ago that they were going to be cancelled for failing to sell merch, told you so!

The thing is though that's the same excuse CN gave Symbionic Titan and Thundercats. The shows either had no outside fanbase in the US or merchandising life at all. So they all got axed. They want a Ben 10 and Adventure Time level of stop they can use and abuse.

Also CN believes in cheap programing. Why they run Johnny Test ad nauseum on their channel. It's cheap to make and rakes in the dough.

GL actually got good midway through the season. What a waste.

Never got the Young Justice hype though, overrated cartoon that spent WAY too much time treading water plotwise while repeating the same formula weekly.

I hate that Johnny Test show, but those flash animations are so cheap.

Does Adventure time really sell a lot of toys though? Or Regular show? It seems like they are more popular in the teen crowd with hoodies and junk.
