I have over 16,000 songs in my library. Most of those I own on CD or some other media. I've bought 707 songs from itunes. Some stuff I've acquired via the internet, but most of those were things I already owned on cassette or vinyl and didn't want to have to repurchase in a digital format. I love music and I have never gotten bored of my music. If I start getting bored of my main genres of metal or rock, which makes up a majority of my music, I explore the strange corners of my collection. Either that, or I just listen to music on random. My real favorite thing to do though, and I'll be doing this later, is go down to my basement, drink some fine whiskey, and then listen to records, cassettes or CDs one album at a time. Some newer stuff that I've bought: The Black Keys--I missed the boat on these guys, so I'm just starting to gather some of their albums and listen to them. I saw them live with the Rolling Stones, which is what sparked my interest in them; Prince--I only ever owned the Batman and Purple Rain soundtracks. I've been filling in my collection and I love me some old Prince; Lady Gaga--I also saw her live with the Rolling Stones. I have four of her songs, and I dig them; Ghost--I found these guys by accident, and I loved the album cover, so I bought it; The Sword--I got their newest album on cassette a while ago, and like it; Monstrosity--I went to Art School with their current singer, and he sent me their newest album back in 2008 or something. I love it, and decided to get some of their older material; Neil Young, Ulver, Korpiklaani, Immortal, and Type O Negative--these are all artists I've loved for a long time, but I've recently bought albums by all of them that I didn't have before, so I've been going back and listening to them all again.
