Hey, look! An Outhouse article that hours later shows up on Bleeding Cool, obviously a pure coincidence!

Funny how those coincidences occur, lately!

Hickman made me like Izzy Dare in just this one issue, and i think she'll make a fine Avenger, but i'm having trouble buying the idea that she'd be accepted as a Guardsman too.

See this is exactly what I was saying in the other thread.

Except you used more words and stuff. :?

Really? Why is everyone so confused? I thought the opening of the book made it pretty clear that Izzy found the visor of the Smasher who died in an Iowa cornfield while escaping from Cassandra Nova's attack on the Shi'ar in Morrison's XMen. Did I misread the book?

Amazing how much you know about a team you constantly say you don't like. :-D

you're looking at it from the angle. we're not questioning how Izzy got there. we're questioning why Gladiator and the Guard would allow her to stay and keep that tech. that's the part that isn't explained/doesn't make sense.

Ah, I getcha. Yeah, I mean, it's not like she proved herself in battle or anything before she was made a subguardian; she kind of put the glasses on and was good to go. So I can see how that's confusing.
