i just remember that story dealing with Krona and the egg ( i believe it was) that was left at the end of the crossover
Yep, and IIRC, wasn't the Krona egg pretty much the basis for Busiek/Bagley's Trinity weekly?

The same thing they could do with Stephanie and Cassandra who the Didiocracy are going out of their way to ignore. They could easily show up as Avengers or something. Plus I heard that Quesada said that if he got a chance to use Jean Paul Valley as Azrael at Marvel he would so they could easily have all these characters show in Marvel, seeing as how DC doesn't know what to do with them.
Then they would spread their toxicity to the Marvel Universe. It would spread like a disease!

Obviously, you're some skinny, single nerd living on the East Coast who probably derives value in life from wrestling matches, hoping that Wolverine gets to sleep with teenagers and engaging in casual drug use. You're literally the worst thing to happen to comics since Stan Lee.

All your favorite Marvel characters would catch contextually-transmitted diseases and Steph infections.

I'd be all over Marvel/DC crossovers if they put something out as good as JLA/Avengers
I think it would be fun to see DC heroes go up against Marvel villains and vise versa.

I'm still holding my breath waiting for a book-length Nightwing vs. Batroc fight scene drawn by Scott McDaniel.

I remember a few years back at some con Bendis was petitioning to get a Batman/Daredevil crossover pitch of his off the ground.
Then Levitz came and said until there's a management change at marvel it wont even be discussed (because of Quesada likening DC to a pornstar who doesn't know how to use a big dick).
I'd still love to see that.

If the big two really wanted to make some noise, do a crossover where a major DC character kills off a major Marvel character (or vice versa) and the ramifications for both universes.
Hell Marvel could get rid of old white Nick Fury that way.

Didn't realise DC & Marvel were at such odds with each other again - sounds like the 80's when Shooter & Giordano were at the helm of the companies.
When Amalgam & the JLA/Avengers came out I always hoped it was a new era of co-operation from the two & that we might see something more permanent. Alas.

I didn't know that. Since most crossovers have zero impact on regular titles I thought that plot thread would be forgotten.

Ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous. Kurt Busiek, who wrote JLA/Avengers, also wrote Iron Lantern - one of the Amalgam books.
Irregardless, it was still a mystery why Access or the two brother entities were never mentioned.

It basically boils to Quesada and Didio acting like dicks and letting their personal biases get in the way of good business decisions.
